Where track heroes meet freeriders
Whether you are a trail lover or a freeride professional, the main thing is the descent down fascinating tracks of Bjelašnica and Igman. Fast or slow-paced, on skis or board – in the middle of the beautiful scenery of our mountains. These two ski centers provide fun and excitement on the slopes of all difficulty levels.
But that’s not all: not only are fast descents a highlight in themselves, but so are the modern ski lifts that you can easily climb with to get going again and restart the adventure. Bjelašnica is one of the most popular mountains in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is visited especially during the winter season by hundreds and thousands of people, from the local population, over regional to many other international guests.
The slopes on Babin Do are at the very top of the European ski slopes. The ski resort has eight ski slopes and five children’s slopes, as well as three cable cars and five ski lifts, which also lead to the very top of Bjelašnica, at 2,067 meters above sea level. Bjelašnica is therefore a unique and authentic mountain that certainly represents one of the many jewels of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Part of the trails are equipped with high-quality competitive lighting for night skiing, and the Ski Center also has an installed system for artificial snowing of the slopes. The modernization of vertical transport, in addition to the installation of the six-seat cable car, includes the installation of a four-seat cable car from the intermediate station to the very top of Bjelašnica.
